Introducing StorySPARK
StorySPARK will celebrate and showcase exciting and provocative stories — yours, mine, everybody’s. Stories that are intensely personal, and boldly political. Stories that are sensual, that get you hot and bothered. Stories that kick your ass. Stories told through words or pictures. We plan to highlight short stories, poetry, non-fiction, photography, art and erotica. In addition to getting up close and personal with creators, we hope to make this a multi-media affair.
The StorySPARK crew convenes every other Wednesday at 6:30 at Helios on Glenwood South (our next meeting is Wednesday, March 26). Please join us. Who’s ‘us’? Greg Behr (gebehr@gmail.com) and Billy Warden (billy.warden@gmail.com) are taking responsibility for keeping this spark aflame, but many others have signed on. A new online creative magazine, The Raleigh Quarterly will help our community grow and thrive. So, what’s your story?
