yogaSPARK is making moves…
The good folks of yogaSPARK have a lot in store for the month of June!
Lea has linked up with Neusom Holmes of Unity Church and the 1% for Peace Organization to combine efforts to incorporate a meditation aspect with yogaSPARK! 1% for Peace is hosting a two week meditation event across the globe in conjunction with the UN and other organizations from September 11 – 22. An Idea was to this effort with the meditation component of SPARKcon.
Lea and I met with Neusom and Jessica of the Unity Church and 1% for Peace to throw around ideas on how to utilize the vast community of yoga practitioners and instructors, offer a multitude of different styles to the participants of SPARKcon, and maybe even construct a temporary meditation garden with the help of local landscapers and garden designers!
yogaSPARK is holding a variety a gatherings to promote the cause. The next one is a potluck dinner in Morrisville this Sunday (June 8).
There will be another informal ‘walkabout’ of the proposed site for yogaSPARK next Thursday June 12th to discuss details for the event.
The next general meeting is Saturday June 21 in North Raleigh.
