We had a wonderful time at SparkCon this year!! Performing on the main stage Saturday night was truly magical! The crowd gave us such warm, vibrant energy and we just fed off of it!!

Our workshops on Sunday, Introduction to Partner Balancing and Kid's Clowning were a lot of fun!! What a beautiful space that the Raleigh Ensemble Players so graciously shared. Our Balancing Class was the most rewarding class I've taught, despite the fact we only had two participants. Because of the small class, we were really able to teach and share our knowledge. The kids that attended our Clowning class were excited and engaged, making it a memorable afternoon.

The spirit of SparkCon was crystal clear this year, as it provided an opportunity to collaborate with other local, like minded artists and a venue to share our talents. We made lots of valuable contacts for future projects and feel refreshed and inspired after this past weekend.

From our experience this year, we hope to start CircusSpark next year!! We're already trying to reach out to the Triangle's circus community and have some contacts that include jugglers, magicians, fire spinners, and aerial artists. Anyone that might be interested in CircusSpark, feel free to send me an email: katie@acroentertainment.com

Thanks for letting us participate in this event; we can't wait for SparkCon 2010!!
